i don't exactly get access. i trespass a lot and hope not to get caught. most of these places i've scouted for years. the times i have been caught trespassing the land and property owners have been really cool about it...

Where I live, there is nothing to trespass, I find it VERY difficult to find an area to take photos. I had a good giggle at 'i don't exactly get access.'
Its nice to hear that the owners at least have some respect for you though. Anouther question, do you ever photograph people?

i don't really photograph people. i've tried in the past but for some reason i just don't find photos of people to be visually interesting. and that's not a knock on that style at all...just not my cup of tea. maybe it's because people are something you see every day thousands of times. but when was the last time you set foot in a decaying building that no one's been in years? or sat behind the wheel of a 1945 chevy that hasn't had a passenger in over 40 years? i find "dead things" fascinating...

Very true, thats why I love your photography so much, Im just a begineer, im not looking for people to be like OMG YOUR AMAZING, i know im not perfect yet, I have a very very very poor camera, I need alot of work, but its fun 
I defently agree on the 'dead things are fascinating' Cont. on. with your lovely art. oh and the reason why I questioned if you ever took pictures of humans is because, it'd be really fascinating to see people in these 'dead things' thats all :3

it really has nothing to do with camera what so ever. i started out using an ipod touch which is about as bad as you can get. all a nice camera does is give you a means for results, it doesn't make the pictures any more interesting. i've really only been a "photographer" for roughly 8 months. it's not about image quality as it is about the subject. you take excellent photos, just keep working and use your imagination
i agree...some of my shots would benefit from a human subject in them. but ultimately i try to capture loneliness and desolation.

I stared out with a 20 doller digital camera when I was 10, the quality was poor, but you can see lots of love. I agree the camera doesnt make the photo, but it does help sometimes, esp. sence 90% of my photography is focusing on people, you want to get every last detail of the person. I love the ideas you have for your photography, they're simple yet, they always seem to take away my breath. Also I cant get over the fact you've only be doing it for 8 months! thats amazing! D:
