A commission for ...what better way to enjoy the company of a best friend than a few drinks and a sunset?
okay, this image totally kicked my tail in soooooooo many ways. I don't know why, but it fought me like crazy! I missed two different deadlines for it (note: Mala is encredibly patient!) and I'm still not sure about things. The grass is just... eh... stupid grass. o.o

LOL! I have to say I love this image, mostly because if you add about 100 pounds to the feline person, this would be me and my best friend if we were animal people. XD I was the crazy cat lady, and she was the nutty horse lady. lol

AWESOME job, girl! you should do more anthro work (like maybe a bat) either way, you're totally awesome and sweet (something you just can't find very often lately, at least, something i don't)

not a paint over... but what I did was get my sister to dress and pose in the lawn exactly the way I wanted to... as the sun was setting *g* (nice of my sis, eh?) so that I had an almost perfect reference photo, which I relied on quite heavily.
If it was a paint over, I would have said so...cause that, to me, is a different kind of art. :}

I love the idea of laying in grass having a chat.
Mala and Dreamaria both look wonderful and I love the coloring on each. The lighting looks so soft as the sun is going down. You really did an excellent job rendering Dreamaria's pink hair and I love the way it drapes on her body. I also really like Mala's pose, with her hand resting on her side and the dandelion delicately held between her fingers.
Lastly, the sky far off in the distance looks so peaceful. I just love the colors overall and your patience with the grass really paid off. :3

The lighting on the horse's skin is great! it reminds me of an old tv show Called Wildfire, but the horse there was a Male horse.
