The coloring is absolutely extraordinary. It's radiant and saturated nicely.
Because of the cropping of the face, it's hard to judge your proportions, but I would warn you to be very careful about what each shadow says about the facets of the face. It's not too likely for an Asian woman to have a Roman nose lacking an indention at the top, between the bridge and forehead. The omission of details says as much as the inclusion of details.
As for the theme, it's compelling and tragic. I like it.

Just out of curiosity I went and rendered a 3d model based on the information provided by the contrast in the deviation. Where the color of an object remains the same, it illustrates what depth information is being sent to the mind.

This is absolutely beautiful. I don't know why you don't have more views.
The colors are so soft but still rich and appropriate. The shading is fantastic. My only recommendation would be to make the eyes slightly larger, but other than that, it's perfect. The composition is wonderful. <3
