As a child, the most captivating things about 'The Lion King' were the songs, the characters and the cartoony animation. But as you get older, you begin to appreciate the more subtle details, such as the score, the design, biblical references etc. For me; one of the best things about this movie is the Art. Those breathtaking landscapes, the scenes and the accurate anatomy on the characters are nothing short of inspiring. Long Live TLK!!
It had been a while since i did an elaborate piece, and this was inspired by a spectacular concept artwork that belongs to the Disney company.

photoshop is tricky and quite complicated, i still heavily rely on SAI for now. And that project sounds awesome! Lions have been my favourite animal for i don't know how many years! and i'll let you know if i decide to join in!

simba!!!!!!!! I watched the Lion King today, I'll watch everytime I can even if I'm 14 years old. I love the detail of the background, the characters, music, animation and drama. I dont think Simba's pride was that good, they didn't put all that effort in like the original. I wish they'd make a 4th one, Lion king 3 was pathetic
