Okay, so this is a pretty big deal for me. At first I wanted to try the Sonic style of colouring. I don't have a very advanced program, so I wasn't sure if it would be possible, but I think it may be. Only problem was the the highlights would sometimes look very jagged an unsmooth. So I only have some highlights in some place, and they do look pretty good. It's just hard to make straight lines using the mouse, with the shading brush.

However, I also tried something different, and that's adding shines with the brush. I think it looks really good with Blaze's head (after all, it's much more simple than Silver's) but I didn't add it in all places. All in all, I've learnt a lot of new tricks, and I'm quite happy with the way this turned out. I hope to improve, continuously.

As for the picture itself, I really enjoyed the interaction between Silver and Blaze in the Sonic 06 game for the 360. So much so, that it inspired me to draw this. These two are probably my favourite Sonic characters, although I do like a lot of them.
