So basically, Bertha and Stanley are the two primary bankers, though Stanley only takes over as banker when she’s away.

Yes, it is the same Bertha, but in my series instead of being scrapped, she was preserved. She will serve as the primary banker for Gordon’s Hill, but when she’s ill or being repaired, Stanley is the backup banker.

Yes, the real locomotive had two names but it mostly went by Big Bertha. I just think Bertha suits her better, in my opinion. I could definitely have her pull a brake like that some day.
