Personality:

Upon first meeting, he is shown to be timid and very introverted. Kohaku isn't much of a talker and won't really talk unless you really do make an attempt to approach first. He likes to do things at his own pace and does not like to rush. Most of the time he won't open his mouth unless he feels comfortable or sees that you're kind. Kohaku hates being loud, and doesn't like interrupting others when talking, it feels like he's doing something very disrespectful. If you're looking for some help, call up Kohaku and he'll be delighted to help you. Kohaku is very determined and won't really do any unnecessary action unless he has a good motive or reasoning behind it. Once you start to get to know him more, he can be very eccentric and very bouncy in a good-spirited way. As he doesn't talk much and is very much of a nervous and anxious one, he has trust issues and is very honest about his feelings.

Just like Kohaku, the Lion allmate is very silent, but ready to take action when needed. He's not the one to show much emotion, and has a frown upon his face, but he's very protective and helpful. Always persisting to stay by Kohaku's side, he's very protective over the boy and will glare at you if you try to do anything suspicious. You would definitely know if he disliked you, because he would growl and/or snarl at you as a warning. He speaks for Kohaku and puts his worries first before his. Shishi tries to be a fearless and helpful partner for Kohaku, who lacks the courageous trait. He also tries to help build up his confidence. Strongly dislikes annoying allmates or people who doesn't know how to stop talking.

History:
Back before he was where he is currently, Kohaku was raised in a small town. It wasn't a fancy town, it wasn't a mass populated town, but it was decent and stable. He was raised with an older brother and an older sister, living in a stable household. His childhood was your typical merry happy past kids day. Kohaku would play with his sister and brother a lot, going outside and doing piggyback rides, tag, hide and seek, singing nursery rhymes and cooking together. They started to become distant with one another completely as their father suddenly kept leaving onto business trips one after another. All communications ceased from each other once the two older siblings both went off to College, packing their belongings and moving away. Kohaku was left behind to tend to their mother who would get ill often. He aided by staying by her side and giving her medicine as well as fresh cold towel.

Although his mother lay sick in bed, she'd always send him to school and both his parents would still afford his payments for his education. His time at school was usually him being that one silent kid that sat at the back of his class. He was sharp, quick learner, and an eager student. Kohaku was very devoted to his work in the high hopes of being able to get a well paying job and to pitch in for helping with the financial needs. During learning new lessons, he'd always be fascinated with everything he'd learn. He would regularly be picked on for being such a 'goody goody' and a 'teacher's pet'. Being bullied later made him recline to being a "mute", hardly talking and making contact with any other student. The only time he'd speak was when he was at home, talking to his mother about how school went. Although he would rarely talk at school, he would usually speak little by little to those who tried to communicate with him.

The bullying ceased when he graduated from middle school, moving onto High school where he wanted to make a new debut and start over. He kept the same act with not talking. The only thing that was different was how he distanced himself from the other students. He didn't want to talk to any of them unless he had a good reason too, and would not open his mouth unless he was called on or had to do a presentation on a project. Kohaku's mom died shortly after, being soon forced to move in with his Father at a different house that was located in a different region. He was homeschooled by his relatives that lived close by and kept that life up. Finally becoming of age at 20 years old, Kohaku moved out from his fathers home and crashed at his sisters place. He grabbed a job as a Life guard while at it, as he did live close to a public pool.
