I think there's already one named planet in the Kharak system. Haarsuk, a gas giant with several moons that Naabal was looking to build facilities on, at least according to the manual, which I totally didn't just dig out of my HW1 game files.
Other than that tiny, TINY quibble, this is great. You've done, and continue to do, a fantastic job of fleshing out and expanding an amazing universe which really deserves more attention than it receives.

Yeah, the fans have found the manual to be suspect or incomplete when compared to the games' canon.

Lovely illustration! The picture is awesome. Sorry if I'm retarded but does it have any associations with any game or movie? O_o

Why don't you make similar map for Hiigaran solar system? )))

Very nice and creative too, and I'm not sure whether the theories and details on each planet was from the game or you, but the parts I read seemed quite true to our real Solar System.
Though reading was difficult for me, the text is only just legible, perhaps people could better appreciate the theories behind each world if the text was a bit bigger.

Awesome!
So can we get a new image of that Turanic Kingdoms map you have, but with readable text?

I'll see about it... had problems carving up the last territory IMO. Might just do what I'm doing with the HW map- put all the legible text on the map's 'backside'.
I'm taking flash this quarter (presumably), so it's an option to flash-ify the Turanics map.
Otherwise, Kadeshi is what I'm doing presently. HW map is kinda ongoing.

Very cool! I don't know the game, but this map looks just like something I have seen before of our own solar system. Impressive.

I wanted to do something like this for Ademwater, but you never replied to the note I sent you...

Ah, sorry, I hadn't gotten around to it. I read it and wanted to reply later, but then the weekend came: I can only read and reply mail and such during work hours: my internet at home is not working (the people of the providing company don't know what's wrong and haven't been able to fix it for more then a month now! *snif*)
So, using that excuse I now gladly reply that I would love to see something like this for the solar system where Ademwater resides. At least it will give a more extensive background to the world and the people in Amengnar (the humans who want to find a way back to Earth) are looking at the stars too probably. Trying to find Earth in some way.

I think that especially in the time before the great desaster and the poisoning of the athmosphere Knarren were quite advanced and were able to build telescopes that would be able to see at least what we can see today. They build a device to control an erratic dimentional shifting anomaly. I think we brainstormed that the anomaly could have something to do with other bodies in this solar system. So if that is true, the Knarren would have to know about those to be able to influence the process, right?

True- from what I can recall it was interactions between Knarren's sun and some compounds in it's moon. *Shrugs*
