This is the same carrier from the Homeworld Redux series.An Imperial Kushan carrier, re-designed for this seperate universe portrayal that isn't canon anymore in the Homeworld series.
And since everybody asks whenever I bring these designs up, YES I AM WELL AWARE THE KUSHAN RACE IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE EXILES. THIS PORTRAYAL IS DELIBERATE.

It wasn't Star Trek, it was Battlestar Galactica. Star Trek's TOS is remembered fondly by a number of people because of Captain Kirk and stuff- even the new movie is about that period. TOS of Battlestar galactica, when remembered by non-fans, call it campy, cheesy, and worthy being forgotten with the "New, hip, dark, gritty" remake.
But I think the remake... was bad. Did away with anything good Galactica had to begin with.
I can't stop you from re-using the concept and honoring TOS trek- just keep in mind that it isn't as 'dead' as Galactica.

I always played as the Tiddian. There ships always looked more like something a bunch of rebbels would build.
I didn't play HW2 because they weren't in in.

I like them! They have an understated elegance, and yet simplicity about them -- that they're basic designs that have been refined, with a hint of aesthetics influencing them.
I always had a soft spot for the Kushan carrier. The Kushan designs in general but the carrier in particular. I don't know why, just the overall design appealed to me.

Cute. Kushan would be empire. Why? Kushan Empire is, or was, IN REAL LIFE! Really. Look for Kushan Empire an Wiki. Also seek Kharak as name of one from Kushan leaders. Also Hiigara, which is Hijra in arabic, means... Exile!

well as i said on relic forums, i think the design is a little bit to round.... the ion cannon frigate looks like a giant sex toy
