Hmm...it's funny. You sort of play with the attention of the viewer. Giving him/her the opportunity to choose between the two main "focused" subjects in this picture: the JD sign and the shop (only interesting through the surreal colour, really). This way the entire picture becomes lively.

REALLY loving this shot, does it take a while in photoshop to edit it to look like this colour wise?

No actually its really simple. Took me maybe 10 minutes max to edit in photoshop. I replaced the clouds and made the jack daniels sign darker. to get the black/white with color, i duplicated the colored layer, made it black/white to me liking with the channel mixer, then set the layer i think overlay or one of those. Thx for the +fav!! Im definetely checking out your gallery! :-D

Really like the way it works mate, but I am obsessed with american culture which helps however the jack daniels sign to me is an icon of a certain american lifestyle which I think could be found in Orleans, maybe more of an idealistic than a realistic lifestyle but thats my reasons for liking it
