My guess was nepotism or bribery on some level from her parents. I also think she’s putting on airs not wearing simple makeup and color contact lenses and a wig when not out in the field.
She needs to develop THICK calluses on her feet for all terrain, thick as a Bushman’s, to the point she simply won’t need shoes anymore, and get yogi training to control her metabolism to withstand all kinds of temperatures in the nude. Then learn the drug smuggler’s trick of hiding weapons inside her body. Easier if she’d have a baby first, but extensive sex toy training isn’t just for pleasure in some circles. The best smugglers are women who can actually control their cervix! With effort, they can induce a dilation so to put items in their womb!
Since food seems to disappear as soon as she eats it, that indicates that she’s not transparent but is rather bending light around the surface of her skin. This also explains why she is not blind.
