NOT ORIGINALLY MINE! well, in a way...Explanation!:
I did draw this! on scratchboard with an X-acto knife as well as a cool metal quill pen thing for sketching which feels really proffessional and stuff haha...but as for the picture itself, I drew it from opticneuralinterface's original digital drawing titled "Samus Is Cool" (hence the new name here...). . . I don't know how to like...include people's links or whatever on here, so I'll just put a hyperlink instead... Give credit where it's due. AH, and I drew this for a Drawing class Project...I did make some mistakes, but I think it's alright...first time really doing somethin like this...

It's also kinda funny that so much work clearly went into this painstaking medium... all to perfectly replicate something made in 15 minutes on a digital doodleboard.

Thanks man! Glad it gets a stamp of approval from it's originator. hah. The size is about 14" X 20" I do beleive. heh, I had to tape all those little rectangles together cause I couldn't find the right size in time haha. But it worked out pretty nicely.

I think it comes from the fact that when she was designed, they only had a few pixels to design her with! So they made her super iconic. Nowadays they just make people's faces more detailed, and dont think of big bold fun shapes!

hm, that sounds true enough. Yeah, they are pushing more towards realism, which is cool, but at the same time, I wish they'd put more effort into making some new different unique character designs. Maybe in the next era. haha. good ol' pixels.

Realism isnt necessarily cool! Only if it suits it. Metroid Prime proved there was a good middle ground! (10/10 game imo!)
