YAY! I spent like a pure 2 hours on this without distraction.
This is a bid for a fomer PMU mare rescued in a raid by the Flying Feathers team & ~bovidaeloony . She's a gorgeous Vladimir Heavy Draft, currently in foal by an unknown stallion (and pictured as such). Check out the available mares here:

Freckle Butt will stay her HARPG name, but I'd be changing her barn name to Masha, which means Persistence in Russian.

Masha is a gentle and kind mare. She's a good teacher, a calm and patient pasture mate to the yearlings, and is particularly fond of children.
Having had so many foals, she has an excellent mothering instinct and longs to have a foal she can raise to adulthood. She endured unimaginable heartbreak at the facility, hoping for so long to have her own foal, only to see it snatched away and sold to the feeder lot every time. She's pregnant again by an unknown stallion, and is close to the end of her pregnancy. Her foal will be trained by us at Sweetbriar for pleasure riding, and maybe more, depending on what we see in him/her. There was talk that the stallions being used were of good stock, so the foals could be sold for greater sums of money.
Masha deserves a long, long break from breeding after this foal. Sweet hay with delicious alfalfa, warm molasses-water on cold nights, a roomy box stall with the softest and finest-cut woodchips. Most importantly of all, she'll be turned out to pasture where she can run freely and enjoy life again, rather than being cramped into a 5ft-wide stall for 6 months out of every year. She will have a life of pampering at our stables for sure!
Being that the Vlad breed doesn't have a particularly strong back, Masha will leave the riding to some of our other drafters. I'm sure she'd like to get all dressed up for halter classes though! Primarily, she'll be used for pulling sleighs and carriages for special events like weddings and festivals. She also seems a good prospect height-wise to be matched up with our ACD Harleigh in teamed events. She and Harleigh will do a test-run at some point down the road, and we'll go from there. She seems to love children, so we'd like to see her become a demonstration/teaching horse for 4H groups and Ag classes.
