I've recently noticed that whenever I draw Riley he always looks different.
Sometimes he has a long muzzle, sometimes big ears... So I did this to really try and lock down his look. I think I like it. 
I made his colors a lot brighter than in his ref, and I think I'll use these from now on.I like how I've been able to watch him evolve over the years. It's like he's my baby. ^__^

I love your idea of the dog turning human and the dog's owner turning into a dog making the roles all reversed. Just keep brainstorming, the story is great so far. I'm thinking of my own transformation story right now, except it's dragons. I'm thinking of it having a few elements from avatar the last airbender, avatar (not the last airbender), final fantasy, and eragon, but i've got alot of my own origional ideas made so far.

Thank you! ^__^ Yes, my drawings are VERY much influenced by Disney. You're actually the first person to point out how much Riley looks like Kenai though. I admit he does look like him... a lot. xD I didn't even realize this until I was done designing him though. But eh, I don't really feel like changing his design.

Looks very nice! The only one that bothers me is the second one from the bottom on the left side, specifically the upper 'lip'. It looks kinda...uneven? I dunno. I don't know what expression you were going for, but usually they're symmetrical. xD; Sorry! Still looks nice. :3
