This is a poster project that contains two Pocky ads for strawberry and chocolate flavours. It's a school project in an advertisement course. At the moment I'm studying as an exchange student in the Joshibi University on Art and Design in Japan.

When I heard that we have to design an advertisement poster to some brand, I almost immediately started to think about Japanese snacks and drinks. I've been living in Japan now for over three months and I've really fell in love with Pocky sticks, so I decided to make ads for Glico. I also love lolita fashon, so I wanted to combine these two. My campaign is aimed for people who love sweet things like pocky and lolita stuff.

Both of these posters are made with Photoshop CS3 and Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch tablet. The original size is huge B1 (about 12000px x 6000px) and the working was really slow. But I wanted to make these at least as big as they will be printed, I hate streching pictures that are too small, because the result looks usually bad.

This is the chocolate Pocky poster, my personal favorite. I actually bought a dress like that in Closet Child Harajuku a couple of months ago! I stayed awake drawing this until 3:30 am last night, but I got it finished in time.
