He enjoys festivals and loud, boisterous events, fireworks, MEAT, blood, soft skin, and naps in the sun. Also enjoys quiet nights with a cup of tea, stars, FIGHTING AND SWORDS, competitions.
Dislikes
Being underminded, feeling powerless, sitting still for too long or being kept in one place for long periods of times, COLD, FISH and anything associated with the smell.
Relationship with Empress
He treats her as he would any lady, and that's usually very touchy-feely, keeping close to her as a means of protection. He also enjoys teasing her though he sometimes shows to be a little more than harsh at times. Should she ever find herself in any danger, he usually steps in front of her, shielding her from harm.
Backstory
Born as An'wei to a small band of Thena, he lived a rough childhood and managed through to adolescence within the arid environment. When he was of age, the young man was enlisted in a group of mercenaries that were hired for the real dirty jobs ; attacks on caravans, protection for slavers, hired muscle and all manners of bloodletting and less than honourable jobs. The Thena would have probably let himself be consumed by such a lifestyle, having never found any sort of purpose with his life and only living for the next day to experience the lust for battle and bouts of adrenaline. Though one bad deal later involving some sort of shady business, the likes of which he wasn't informed of, he and the rest of his group were sent to the chopping block. However, through some miracle he managed to escape his captors and ran to the city of Kwe'Laoch and started his life anew though he was clueless where to start as this was completely new to him. Stumbling through his newfound life, he found work at an old tea shop and lived content for a short while before his restlessness got the better of him and soon left for the desert life once more. He had nowhere else to go, his small group of shield brothers long dead and gone and his family were scattered to the winds, their existence seeming to have never existed, he spent time slinking around the dunes and just barely managed to survive. He was found shortly after by bounty hunters and was taken back to the capital city of Cyrnel to spend the rest of his life in prison as was determined by his crimes. Less than a month getting used to his prison life, he was released and sent before the Empress who gave him a chance t redemption, the promise of new life under a new name and the title of knight though he must never disobey and show his utmost devotion. An'wei would be dead to him, a criminal whose past wasn't at all remarkable and would rot away in the back of his mind ; Ja'wei would be one of the Empress' knights until the day he died, a fate the man had chosen, although begrudgingly. Some may say that he chose the coward's way out, instead of repenting for lives spent from his blade, he would forge ahead as one with no real past and a future of servitude.
