My submission for Round II of the Final Fantasy art tribute, over at #Game-Art-HQ

I volunteered for Fran this time because she's one of my favorite FF characters. Final Fantasy XII in general is my favorite Numbered Final Fantasy, so when Fran was listed as a tribute character, I jumped at the chance. Not the first time I've drawn her, but it is the first time I've colored her and did all the details in her outfit (her armor is a flippin' pain to draw >_>) I was going to crop the final image, but something about having the extra bits of unfinished lineart on the edges made the drawing feel... I dunno how to put it, "right" I guess. IDK I just really liked it better uncropped.

On an unrelated note: I've gotten a heck of a lot faster at painting. This one only took me around 3 - 3 1/2 hours to finish. In fact, my last 3-4 paintings have all been completed in anywhere between 2 to 6 hours. I'm glad my speed is increasing, but I'm worried my style might be suffering from it.
