Description Sorry for the blurriness on one side, the paper was larger than my scanner and it was a nightmare trying to fit it in.

Can you get a 'warm' white paint? Or warm white ink that's opaque and runny? Anyone tried gouache? Is it good? What about masking fluid?

Apologies for huge file size, I couldn't get it any smaller without losing some of the detail.

Medium: watercolour and acrylic.

Awesome job on the cat's anatomy, I can almost sense the bone and muscle structure under the fur - you're very skilled.

Wonderful painting. You did a great job with the fur - you are so patient (I couldn't do this ). I love the golden eyes

The nose is a bit sideways. xD

Nice work. I first actually looked at your 'lolwut pear' on the old account, but I read your little thing in bold, and decided to check out this new account of yours. Nice gallery, xD hope you fill it more.

Yeah, this cat gave me a lot of trouble, hehe. xD Thanks for the critique.
And thanks for paying attention to my mini-rant lol, that means a lot. ^^

NICE! is that your cat? I have a little tiger too!

gouache - I love it but ever since I am into photoshop I totally neglect traditional colours, paint, markers and stuff. Shame on me. Still, gouache rocks!

warm white paint...... perhaps by adding mininal amounts of brown and stuff? So you get something like light eggshell coloured? I would go for that try...

Thanks! It's my cousin's cat, haven't seen him in a while though

Haha - ever since I found my watercolours I haven't done a digital piece. I want to get back into photoshopping but there's still sooo much watercolour stuff I want to do... I am so sloooow xD

Yeah, I think that's the way to go... only thing is I'd have to mix a large amount then water it down, 'cause acrylics can't be runny and opaque at the same time, I have to keep refilling the brush. Oooh what about oils? Can they last a long time on one stroke and still retain their opacity?

I never used oil paint (ok, once but that is like ages ago) but is a really good with it and she must be good, after all she starts running an artist's shop next month

and acrylic... I am not that good with acrlic as well and it's exactly the point, can't be runny and opaque at the same time.
thats why I probably like gouache and watercolour the best in general.

still - adorable cat
