Lion painted for my A Level Unit 4 project that tackles the subject of recycling. Although at the moment I'm not at the stage where it attacks the issue directly. I'm pursuing the idea that animals are becoming increasingly endangered as result of loss of their habitat. Lions aren't really on the endangered list I know, but that was a nice image I had from my observational photography. For my final piece of this unit I plan to complete a composition of an elephant in the style of Tony Cragg, using found objects to make a recognisable shape.
