The looks on their faces are just great.

Also, there's a reason they were the first slash EVER. MANY fans saw it and guessed. Even Wikipedia is doubtful about the true status of their relationship. Here's a quote from their Vulcan page:

They were so slashy they CREATED slash. Any episode when Kirk and Spock are talking you can practically see the lovehearts floating around them. Or that could be my sleep deprivation making me hallucinate, I better stop staying up to ungodly hours of the night.

OMG. THE. SLASHIEST. EPISODE.

Shore Leave. At the very beginning. Kirk is all tense, and like Spock is kind of standing off to the side behind him. The random female officer starts massaging Kirk's shoulders and Kirk is all, "Oooh, yeah, that's the spot, Spo-"

But then Spock steps in front of him and Kirk is all OH CRAP THAT WASN'T SPOCK. D:

Well, I remembered about Star Trek from some random conversation so I started watching TOS a month ago. Then I found this free voucher under my bed and used it to buy the movie >: XI was ok but NOT Star Trek!

Well they had two damn fiiiiine actors for Spock & Kirk,
But they weren't.. you know, Spock and Kirk D:
and omg. nu!Chekov. Dx
They can't replace the original Chekov and his awesome accent.<3

But the movie had a nice plot, though :3

But weird camera angles. o.O I'm wondering wether I'm the only one who noticed, but really; sometimes you'd only see half of someone's face.
And there were too many visual effects,
you know in TOS they'd get straight to the point.

Too many spaceship battles and just... normal battles D: but I guess it couldn't be helped since JJ Abrams never really watched Trek (he admitted it himself!). It's like he just made an Ok action movie and labelled it Trek so more people would go see it >:

And I've only ever seen TNG as well. Dad got seasons 3 - 7 on DVD for xmas for himself so now we can watch past season 2! Happyyy! I love Wesley, despite the fact that a lot of people seem to hate him. And I love Worf, too... and now I also know what he did for Kirk & Bones in one of the movies. GO WORF. Harhar.

And I pleaded with my mum a few days ago to buy me TOS Season 1 at least (because they're so expensive), and she did, and she finally gave it to me today. So I have to watch them all before school starts up again, bwaha.
