I feel like sorcery (magic) is way better then swords in many ways, I like to see how the others don't like the idea of Loki going with them. I can kind of relate to Loki, and my brother to Thor as I stay away from my family and friends most of the time. My brothers friends are annoying and stupid. 
Loki is simply smarter then them with books and knowledge while the warriors are good with the swords and physical fighting...
