Description
Revan from the awesome Knights of the Old Republic. Spent the first 5-10 hours playing it bored to death then it suddenly got really, REALLY AWESOME and I couldn't put it down
I decided to take a break after getting the last Star Map to draw a bit. It started out as a trashy sketch but I ended up having too much fun and couldn't stop working on it Originally I started KotOR playing male but when I learned Carth could be romanced I immediately switched to female – now I can't imagine Revan being anything other than a woman
Also since it was my first play-through I decided to be proper and play Light Side – now I can't imagine Revan being anything other than a goody-goody 
Somehow the idea of Revan being evil again makes me sad.Related content

Canonically Revan is male in the series but i kinda prefer to look at it as female too. I mean how many awesome female character jedi do you see in the series?

I think I read somewhere that Revan was supposed to be canonically female but they changed that because it's easier to market guys o_0

What I love about your picture first of is the lightsaber (as well as the rest) but the color is red or purple depending on how you look at it, and since Revan used a purple and red lightsaber in some really impactful fight (I think against Mandalore) that's cool. And I never viewed Revan as a bad guy...even if you made him go back to the sith. He only joined the Sith because the Jedi were getting their asses kicked during the Mandalorian Wars. If you ever play KOTOR II you play as one of the jedi who joined Revans' Sith army. They weren't bent on domination at first, they were just using the powers of the sith to fight off Mandalore...such a great series. If only they made a KOTOR III where you played as Revan again. Not "The Old Republic"

Thank you for the cool comment. I was kinda surprised that it turned out as well as it had and even though it's over two years old now I'm still quite pleased with it. I think I'll have to re-draw it at some point. I remember Revan pulled off a pose like that in-game and that was the original inspiration for the picture.

KOTOR II was nowhere near as good as the first KOTOR. Not even close. But it's hard to achieve perfectness like that. Regardless, it's still a good game. Except the ending is very abrupt. And apparently, there's a new book out now called Revan. I just bought it the other day. It takes place after KOTOR 1, but before KOTOR 2. And I remember the pose you're talking about, right before Malak blasts the ship to hell. Anyway, if you ever draw more of Revan, let me know. Unless there's a way to subscribe to you or something, which I'll go look for now...

Kotor is one of my favorite star wars stories. Seeing this pic brings a theory to mind; has anyone ever had the idea that Revan is an ancestor of Anakin and Luke Skywalker?

I honestly have no idea what you are all talking about, but that is a strong creative piece of art! It has such a smooth looking texture that I want to reach out and lightly stroke it.
