Boa Mandevilla is an adoptive daughter of Boa Marigold, cousin of Scilla and Heather. She was born as daughter of Rama kingdom’s sultan (based on Hindu India) and his harem named Jasmine. When her mother was favored and promised by the sultan a kingdom of her own, Mandevilla was just born. But the two were banished by Sultan’s jealous wife. Betrayed by sultan’s lack of support, Mandevilla become resentful of him more, especially when her mother died of broken heart and depression. In age of five, she left the kingdom and was found by Marigold. Aftering hearing her past, Marigold adopted her.

Due to her past, Mandevilla used to have low opinion of men until she met Charlotte Perry, son of Poire. When he neglected his own health for her, she learned about his health condition and was asked by his mother to broke up with her. Worried for him, she reluctantly agreed. However, year passed when Perry sailed to Amazon lily to see her, they reconciled. As Perry is described to be a “big pup”, Mandevilla is a tough, hardcore woman with brute strength but genuinely accepts her boyfriend Perry for who he is.
