Awesome! I really love the way you drew the horns, they actually look like they're curving out and away from the skull, and not flat like other dragons I've seen. The subdued colors really work well with the piece.

Um...they aren't exactly elemental. They are when it comes to their different breath attacks...but the dragons are just different colors based on their habitats. Black Dragons tend to live in swamps and bogs...and if he was put in an element, it would be more of a decay type thing because he has acid breath or some kind of poison. I haven't read up on my D&D in a while so I could be completely wrong, but that's how I always saw it.
Oh, and great work nJoo. I love it. You have some serious talent. The kind of talent that I wish for as I stay up all night crying because I don't have it. O_O

That is a basic design of a black dragon that you can find in a D&D book, I wouldn't be surprised if you see different ones around the place~
That said, each artist adds their own different touch to it, so they have their differences
