The idea for this chap came from how bushy and beard-like tigers fur (around their face) can be. i imagined it growing long and being plaited down (his) chin like a viking lord (or metalhead).
Done with Prisma colour pencils on Bristol board paper and took me a couple of months of 'a hour here and there' fArting about. Hopfully you will see more of this character in the future
i may even do prints

Superb. I see in this world, the exchange with MiklagΓ₯rd went both ways and all were better off for it.
Every moment of the months put into this shows. The detail and texture alike is nothing short of exquisite, especially in the eyes and ears. The choice of props and clothes is also very appropriate, the long axe being an obvious viking favourite, and the brightly coloured tunic likewise. Personally I find the mound-like hill in the background a very nice and completing touch: While some might argue how a tiger is out of place in the cold North, to him, this is unmistakably home.
Perhaps the paws seem a bit sleek and light for a tiger - but then again, with human proportions they are already about as solid as can be before going into stylized territory.
