Hey, let me ask you something: there are another picture of yours called Drummer Boy (The punk look guy with a gong on his drum set red hair) and I have a RockBand calendar in my room featuring that pic, is it like. ...yours? I mean, you made it for the calendar? Am I getting close to the reality? Or you just like it, and you made it based on the other one?

Oh wow! You have that calendar?! That's awesome! Yeah, that's my creation! I used to work for Harmonix, and was a character artist working on the RockBand franchise. In between projects we got to create some illustrations meant for PR or merchandizing. I did that painting then! I actually have that calendar in my memorabilia pile next to me, and you're the first person I know of who has it too! Woo!

Mmm, sometimes i take pictures of poses for reference, but this one i did without reference. Oh, actually, i think i got some reference pictures for the drums, but even that was just so i could figure out the construction of a drumset. Hope that helps!

Thanks for the heads up! I don't see the problem, the artist obviously put their on work and creativity in to it. It'd be hypocritical for me to call this person out. I've done master studies, and artist copies to try to learn new techniques too. But it's nice to know that someone's lookin out for me!
