Aw nicely done on the fur and wood's texture. May I suggest to try and add more blurry textures to make it more interesting. I mean play more with sharp and soft edges like you did with the background. Anyway, great job on it!

Oh my goodness, that's incredible!!!! I think i've seen the original photo (the one you used as a reference) before, so when I just now found your painting, I recognized it... because it is such a high quality, accurate interpretation of the original photo. You've even got the expression right.
