Just, dear gendom, the way you drew her! The facial detail and coloring just make it pop out so well, and its so realistic looking at the same time. AND HER EYES! The way you colored her eyes! You even included sparkles in her hair! Eeee now she looks like a real sparkly gen!

lol, I'm SO glad you like it so much! I had done several sketches of Ama, but I just wasn't happy with her in my typical style since it toned down her bright personality, so I tried something with more of a Manga look to it: looks like the result turned out pretty well! And somehow I think I captured an inkling of TRiPPY's mad Gen coloring skills.
I hope you don't mind too much I improved and combined a bit on the outfit, since every picture I saw of Ama, she's got a different version of the outfit on.

Its alright. To be honest everyone who draws Ama either gives her a new one, or draws her 'official' look with a slight different change. (i need to get a proper ref of her lol)

Desu comes from Japanese. I think the craze was originally a way for students to remember the verb at the end of the sentence. >>;
