Description OMG I ACTUALLY DID THIS

This is the direct result of a spur-of-the-moment need to start messing with using colors instead of lines to define shapes and stuff, and as I went along, I gave myself two rules... First, no lines allowed. Second, no shortcuts.

I may have broken that second one with the splashy water on the surface

ANYway. I'm ΓΌberpleased with this and you can't tell me no.

But yeah, I know how you feel.. It really was a huge experiment...

But you do really well with your lines! They may be bold, but you work them into your style really nicely! Mine seem to stand out waaay too cleanly. Almost separate from the piece...

True, it is important to have that balance, not too bold, not too thin, but JUST right. Dunno if I will ever abandon my lineart and just define with color though, I just spend so much time getting the lineart perfect it is my PRECIOUS! Like, why would I go to all that time with the lineart (inking it to be scanned in to the computer) just to color without it! ... maybe doing a piece just by coloring up from nothing... man that would be hard. *brain collapses in on itself thinking about it*

Thank you! I'm so happy with it..

I tried to submit it to a certain SAI group, but they didn't accept it. They gave me a really good critique, though, so I'm gonna try to see if I can make some modifications to make it better if I get the time/don't move on in learning.
