Blues is another musical term like 'Rock' and 'Forte'; Blues is the kinda the kind of music that Proto Man's whistle is, since its got that sad tone to it, and Blues are usually sad.
It's not that hard to figure out if you know about Music good enough XD. Personally Proto Man is cooler though.
