Man, I've always loved your drawings. You're so talented when it comes to Nintendo characters, especially the Mario franchise.
But I've been having trouble drawing Iggy. He's my favorite of the Koopalings design-wise, but I never knew they would be so troublesome to draw. As a veteran Mario artist yourself, do you happen to have any tips?

Any tips? Well it's hard for me to say, since I've been drawing the koopalings since I was like 13-14 years old. I practiced a lot using references from the old SMB3 artwork (www.mariowiki.com/Gallery:Supe… ) and some fan art from on a fan site I used to visit.

I've actually used official artwork and fanart for references. I always seem to draw the head alright, but it's always the body I mess up with. Another issue could be that I'm not good with drawing animals, unless you count the Sonic series.

Iggy's hair in general reminds me of a plant; no wonder he's in woodlands, forest worlds.
