Well, the scary fangirl in me has once more reared ist ugly head and commanded me to draw another Ron.Now, this portrait is straight out wrong in many places, so donβt hold back on criticism, this one needs help.
The eyes are terribly wonky, for a start.
However, I still though this might be a nice change to my comic versions, so here you have it.
Oh, and this is DEFINATELY a full-view kind of picture, so why donβt you take the little extratime, eh? Those of you with a slow dial-up connection like mine can use the time for a trip to the loo. Or the fridge. OR to write a textmessage. See, productive time well-used, all for the cost of one click on the fullview link. Worth it, if you ask me.

ninny dear, if i had one ounce of a real artist in me i would offer up critiques like you asked us to. However i am no artist of a serious calibre like you. For eg. i dont see anything wrong with the eyes like you do. I love it!

On the other hand... you wanted critique. Okay:
The chin is too big, and there's something up with the eyebrows. He looks a bit evil. this could also be influenced by the mouth.
Okay, this could be just me, but he doesn't look adorably thick enough. Maybe a lil bit of hair in his face?
The effect as a whole is good, but perhaps a little more contrast? lil bit grey.
One last thing... just have to pimp If you're looking for help with this then go check out her drawings. She is THE BEST HP realism fanartist I know. Her drawings are drawn like this, in pencil.

Umm... first off, wow!
As for critique.... I'd have to say, overall Ron looks very sinister in this. It's creepy. O_o
And his hair is not quite dark enough, methinks. But hey, I can only draw people when they're sitting still in front of me, so... bleh.

yeah I noticed the sinister part, too!
the fun part is: I was going for a cheeky grin, not a menacing "I shall eat your children"-sneer. And the darks around the eyes are so dark, because I envisioned him in bright sunlight.... which contrasts in harsh shadows, but there you have it: it looks more like "the exorcism of Ronald Weasley" XD

You don't give yourself enough credit! I think it's really good! If anything, I might lower the ears a bit (plus make them a tad larger) and whiten the eyes a touch. Otherwise, nice work! I love the shadowing!

i think this is REALLY good, but i think his hair would be a bit longer and he's making a kinda odd expression. but his face is good! and the shading is teriffic!!!! i think this style looks good on you (if you know wat i mean. . . . )

Aw, tis loverly m'dear! Ron is quite the cutie, isn't he?
As far as crits go, the bottom of the eye on the left (when looking at it, NOT his left) is more straight and thus squinted while the eye on the right (when looking at it, NOT his right) is rather rounded at the bottom. So if you think this is "sabaslkdj", then you should either straighten the right or curve the left or a little bit of both. Also, the left outer bump of the nostril (I don't know what else to call it! :/) is really really defined by shading but the other isn't quite defined... so if I were you, I'd take a bit off of the left and add a bit onto the right without taking off of the light perspective you have a'going on there.
Mind you, this picture is gorgeous and practically perfect even without the changes (because I even said you didn't have to do them, it still looks mighty fine) so don't you go and think that this is a bad critique

It looks great, that's for sure. But the thing that bothers me most is that the base colour of the hair is lighter than the base colour of his skin. So also his eyebrows. I hope this can help you.
