Finally, my entry for 's Competition! Who knows how far I'll actually make it, but it looked too fun not to try! XD

Without further ado, the wall of text.

THE TRAINER

Name: Belle Burke

Age: 14

Gender: F

Species: Human

Personality: In general, Belle is a perky, congenial girl. She likes to meet new people and pokemon, sing, hang out with her friends, anything relaxing and fun. She's energetic, and spends a lot of time running around and burning off her seemingly endless energy. When she does calm down, her favorite way to relax is to talk with her pokemon. She doesn't understand them word-for-word, but she gets the gist of what they are saying, and will have lengthy discussions with them, especially when she's lonely on the road.
Belle is a nice girl, but it would be easy to label her as a ditz or a spaz, since...well...she is both. But though she does have her [frequent] air-headed or clumsy moments, Belle is really pretty intelligent. This especially shines when she's under pressure or in a pokemon battle. Her temper does have a limit, too, and it's not unheard of for her to tear into someone when they do something to make her mad.
However, Belle doesn't really like to get angry, and tries not to when she can. For the most part, she's friendly and charismatic, and always open to new friends.

History & Bio: Belle grew up in Saffron City as an only child with her mom and dad. Her dad is a pokemon researcher, specializing in legendaries, and her mom works as a secretary in the same lab building. Ever since she was small, her father would take Belle to work with him to let her romp around with the resident pokemon, and she became particularly attached to a young Vulpix, and they would often play together.
Her love of pokemon developed at an early age, Belle became a trainer on her 10th birthday. Her first official pokemon that was given to her by the lab was an Espeon, but her Vulpix friend refused to be left behind, and became her second pokemon. With pokeballs and a pokedex in hand, Belle has been roaming the regions for four years now, catching all the pokemon she can and having all the fun she could ever want.

POKEMON

Ninetales - Eden - After some time on the road, Belle and her Eden decided together to evolve her into a Ninetales. She is a sly, quick-witted pokemon, but dedicated to her team.

Espeon - Murphy - Growing up in Saffron City, Belle knows the importance of a good Psychic pokemon. Murphy is playful and a bit of a daydreamer, but when the occasion calls for it, he can be serious, focused, and ruthless.

Dragonair - Farron - Belle helped him evolve from a Dratini. Farron is cool and graceful, always keeping a level head.

Misdreavus - Zee - Belle is also aware that while a Psychic pokemon is important, a Ghost type is vital, too. Zee recently replaced a Haunter who was kind of a jerk and Belle was eager to get rid of. Zee doesn't seem to take anything seriously and gets distracted often, so Belle has to keep a close eye on her to make sure she stays focused.

Ursaring - Roxy - Roxy has not quite gotten used to evolving from a Teddiursa, and sometimes underestimates her own strength and size, thinking she's still a small cub. She's very protective of Belle and the other members of the team when she needs to be, but normally she loves everyone.

Mightyena - Oz - Belle's newest pokemon, Oz is a bit of a loner and likes to keep to himself. He's slowly opening up.
