And finally, one last Christmas picture...A group picture of me and as many of you fantastic people as I could cram onto one sheet of 11x14" Bristol paper. <3
Here's who's in this, in a vaguely left-to-right top-to-bottom fashion:

(Geeze, this was hard to seperate into "rows." It's really more of a pile than rows.)
I love you guys bunches and I'm so glad I know all of you. <3 I hope you know that.
There are a ton more people I would have loved to squeeze into this if I had time/paper space, but I think I got in everyone I'm REALLY REASLLY close to, as well as a sufficient portion of my closer accquaintances and art-buddies.

Huzzah! I really enjoyed drawing this-- HUGE group pictures are complicated, but they sure are fun!
And hurhur, I know-- you had no quad ref, but you'd mentioned that you'd eventually quad-iy yourself, and I know your 'sona is a ferret, so I figured between your anthro design and my knowledge of your species, I could figure out how to quad-ify you without too much trouble. Glad you approve!

I might have to try my hand at a huge group picture one day. Maybe after I've mastered my new easel? It came with a set of arylic paints, but I'm a little scared to try them.

I had to sketch it all in pencil-- oh the horror! XD (Though actually, I've been sketching in pencil a bit more, lately, now that I've been using Bristol a lot, which doesn't smudge as bad as my other sketchbooks do.)

I am pretty sure this is officially the biggest group picture I've ever done! |D It was super exciting-- and I'm sure glad everyone has fursonas with quad forms, because group pictures with more than about 5 anthros in them can get a little nutty. XD

Group pictures are always more exciting when the poses are different~ It gives them more interaction and personality and is ever so much more fun to draw. <3
(The different sizes were tricky! Somehow I accidentally made myself the same size as a bunch of wolves and little tiny birds way bigger than they probably are supposed to be. But overall I'm pretty pleased with myself for getting the sizes at least semi-correct? Proportions are confusing!)

All the different sizes definitely made the composition more fun to work with~I think the smallest is my mom (the little 3-inch-long chameleon you can barely see down there) and the biggest is Dragon (who takes up almost half the page).

Yeah, she was the one I was looking at just trying to make out the tiny details o3o Do you ink with pen or marker? Must be really thin to do that so neatly. I think Dragon's cute D: I've seen some art of them, and I think they're adorable too. I seriously love this picture soooo much, though.

I ink in pen~ I've got a bunch of different sizes of inking pens that I switch between depending on how big/detailed what I'm drawing is. 83

I use something called ZIG Millenium pens-- they're a little like Microns, but they're way less expensive, and I think they last longer/smudge less than Microns (though Microns are easier to FIND at storse, so if you can't find ZIGs, Microns will do in a pinch).

I don't any named brand things, so I really can't compare |D *is boring and uses Crayola stuff* I'm very unoriginal, aren't I? |DD

I would suggest some less-expensive pens, but I can't think of anyone who makes water-resistant/not-terribly-smudgy pens that're cheaper than ZIGs. My favorite pens for writing are Pilot G2s (which are really nice ballpoint pens) but as great as they are for writing they're terrible for lineart.
