Mako is a bit of an odd character. He can come off as reclusive, since he is often seeking solitude in his boat, but in truth, company is not often rejected. While generally being silent when first meeting someone, upon getting comfortable with people, he tends to open up more. He’s quite spontaneous when it comes to things, showing up without plans, and he can be highly disorganized, even when he tries to be. The only thing he keeps in order and tidied is his boat. He’s careful and sensitive to other’s emotions and reactions, detecting if someone is uncomfortable with him.

History:

Mako grew up in a home just a bit off from the ocean, but he was always denied to go out to the waters due to the dangers there were, as he didn't know how to swim. As he grew up, he still pursued his want, especially wanting to leave home at this point to meet new people, and his family refused to support his wish to be a sailor, saying that he could never support himself on the money it would bring in. Being as determined as he was as a teen, he set off, and in time, he developed his skill in sailing. It was a few years until he found Sugar Isles, and, deciding that it was as beneficial place as any to dock, he decided to stay.

Additional Information:

- All of his tattoos have a meaning, whether to sailors, or just to himself! (he has a lot more on his torso and back!)

- He knows how to sail a few different kinds of boats, but his boat is a sail boat, as he enjoys sailing it the most.

- He pretty much lives on his boat! He has no house or beach home or anything.
