This month's theme was "eyes", if you couldn't tell.Anyway, UGH, HORRIBLE ANATOMY! I guess some people won't see any deviation from my usual misproportions, but this time it wasn't intentional. I just screwed up and inked it without thinking. Or looking. Eye-patch girl's left leg is the one horror that sticks out in my mind, but the others are causing me pain as well, I assure you. Feel free to point them out, I know you like to do that sort of thing. I'm also disappointed because the picture didn't turn out the way I'd hoped it would. It's just... not interesting.
I wouldn't be posting this if it wasn't due today.

I want some more big comments... Anyways the way you use the ink is amazing!! I'm not going to be like everyone else and say "I wish I could do that" cause I probably could, maybe not the pic, but the technique, it's really cool!! I don't know why, but her "Pippy Longstocking" hair just drew me to this, and it's really cool!

The illustrative aspect of this artwork is really captivating- I like it alot~
pshhhhhh- proportions~ OK- so in Fine arts and for college stuff etc, yeah- life drawings and all that should demonstrate that you know proportions-
but when doing your creative art for fun on the side (non-academic) and you just wanna loosen up a bit- I think it's ok to play around!
it's funny that I do not look critically in temrs of proportions at people's artwork that is non-finearts- because if it's a cartoon, anime, whatever you want to call it- then the proportions really just depend on whatever you want them to be~ since already- the world is up to you to create- I understand that you are dissappointed yourself since you wanted different results, I'm just ramblin' since, I just wanna say I like this piccie and to me the idea, inking, the whole b-n-wness of it, takes priority to my eye- this is super!
it's good to keep up practice and want the best proportions- just remember to see the good in the artworks, even when there are things we see as mistakes- (which can turn out to be non-mistakes! ^__^)

I think this picture is so goddamned amazing because it is so cleverly set up. Everything is in the perfect place, and i can totally sense the feeling of wonder in the eyepatch girl's face and pose. The other girl looks so cute sketching away like that, and your details are as awesome as usual. I always like your pieces because they have this subtle beauty at first glance, but then when you slowly start examining everything you realize how much of the emotion is just bursting forth from your characters. Hah, it makes me feel like a kid again.

I think this is a delightfully unique interpretation of the 'eyes' theme :3 Your ideas are always at least slightly twisted, which is what sets them apart. I love the lace trim and the eye patch in particular.

Ooh, I like this. It's very neat. I adora black and white pieces and I don't think the anatomy's that skewed at all. Love eye-patch girls boots.

Very very suave. I've always liked the kind of boots that girl on the right is sporting, dunno what they're called, but they're nifty. The eyes remind me of hellsing, nice inking too. ^_^
