This is wonderful! It has such a soft and warm feel to it. Very realistic, the eyes stand out the most to me.

yep. It's fantastic for pastels. My favorite is LaCarte by Sennelier..but there is also Wallis sanded paper and Colorfix. It makes the pastel pigment stay in place and you don't have to use a spray fixative when you're done which is great since fixative can alter your colors.

Both..some are pictures, some are life...for example, 'Phil' was from life..he sat in my living room very patiently..Mimi was actually from memory. She's my grandmother but she had passed away so that one I kinda winged it
