When she was about 17 years old, she would pick a night in a week, a random one - she would stay awake for the whole night - just listening to radio, the awful happy music; She'd put on a little make up for no reason at all; She'd draw strange drawings that she would usually throw away come daylight; She would also glance out the window, every now and again, taking comfort in the fact that it was still dark out; the red Moon and the black sky seemed friendly, or at least, familiar. She did her best to convince herself that she was right in the head. Then she went to school.
