Description Here is my take on the Celestial Nighthawk based on my friends 3D model (Indigenous Effect). This piece was printed on a MakerGear M2 with a couple of modifications of my own sculpted out of apoxie sculpt. After a layer of XTC all the pieces were sanded down to a fine grit (with a LOT of help from my friend Jake) while the golden area was left with a lower grit to show the grain marks. The gold and red portions were drybrushed while all other areas were airbrushed. To get the the blue green effect on the main helmet piece as seen ingame with no shaders I started with a layer of airbrushed green and a thin layer of metalic blue. Afterwards i went thru with a steelwool piece and scratched of some of the blue. Finally the piece was weathered with oil based paints and some silver rub n buff.

Now you just need to set your "The Last Word" prop on fire and put this on. Instant kill to most bosses. As always truly amazing. I love the brushed look of the gold, gives it some nice character.

Yeah I know. Plastic does that. I wish I had access to a machine shop, I'd have already made (or at least attempted) both Hawkmoon and TLW. But again, seriously good work.

Yeah I know. I just need a good mill and a lathe (definitely CNC) and I could crank one out. But what if love the most is a functioning airsoft replica of one.
