Description
The title is what I imagine it sounds like when she swings her sleeves around and lets the metal ball within them crack against the scull of an opponent.A furthered study of Ro's outfit design. Here I have one of her sleeves half ripped off to reveal what she carries under them. You also get an idea of how she moves in the outfit, and how it flows.
I wanna make it someday.
Yes, the red motif on her sleaves is caked and sometimes fresh blood.

I really love how this picture resembles a watercolor painting -- it's hard to get that sort of style in Photoshop (I'm assuming that's what you used... correct me if I'm wrong). I also really like the color scheme you used!
The one thing that bugs me is the fact that the lineart doesn't quite seem to fit with the style. It doesn't look very carefully drawn, and it doesn't resemble watercolor. However, this may have to deal with what size tablet you have... larger tablets make lineart more difficult, in my opinion.

Yeah. =/ I spent about two hours trying different filters and effects on the lines to make them fit better, and finally gave up, going with the best option I had found. As it is, it looks like I did a watercolor painting, and then ruined it with a lazy micron pen job. eue
You think smaller tablets are better for lineart? Hmm....A friend of mine has a small one. I'll have to try it out. (has an 8x6)

Great concept! I love the colours and the outfit is awesome. It would actually be a fairly simple thing to make... getting the flow right would take a while but if you know anything about altering patterns you could probably find a base pattern and alter it to work without much trouble!

Hmm...I think it would probably still give me quite a bit of trouble, lol. I'm a total ditz at actually sewing. When I was working on my super-simple cosplay costume, my first 3 attempts at altering a base pattern failed.
The fourth succeded when my mom helped me. ^u^;

Help is always a must... it takes practice to figure out altering. If you do some test runs on cheap fabric until you get what you want.

Cool pic, kickass character concept, the poses are dynamic and the colors intense. The practicalities of an outfit like that are rather disturbing to think about, but hey, this is art, we don't have to smell the rotting blood and fabric or see how the sleeves become totally stiff with gore after a tough fight...

I love the movement of the clothing. It doesn't even look like PS...at first glance I thought it was colored pencils and watercolor. That's especially why I like it, it's not so obvious that the art is digital.

great movement withe the clothing but i think the from inside should be more defined in some parts so imagination can take over(then no need to have sleeves half ripped off), right now i cant really tell how the right arm is moving. and i hope she have some like of nice handles cos the metal ball looks heavy.
