Too much detail to qualify as a "doodle". I mean that in a complimentary way I assure you.
Constructive time! Imagining him without the bandage, I think he'd look a bit cooler. That's usually a thing for younger, brazen characters. This guy looks like he's in his 20's or 30's; skilled veteran kind of type. Solid use of colors with smooth shading. Nicely done.

that's a bit of the point actually ^^ he's actually pretty naive...and nosy....easily gets in trouble....which tends to end up with him nursing a broken nose......so in that sense....he's childish
he's in his mid 20's here....
