Without a second thought i recommend Slaine: the Horned God by Pat Mills and Simon Bisley, it's my all time favourite illustrative story.

Somewhat yes, his art relies too much on photoshop in my opinion, Bisley is a far better artist I think, his style is a mix of Frazetta and Giger. And Pat Mills never managed to write another story as good as " Horned God" it was his pinnacle on Slaine.

Bisley's Doom Patrol was so uncharacteristic of him. all like part-attempts to muster early 20th Century avante-garde!

Yeah,I've heard good words about it,DC was never regularly published in my country the only major works I've read is Gaiman's Sandman,Moore's Watchmen,Miller's Dark Knight and Morrison's JLA and All-Star Superman.

Yes, whereas Marvel Greek editions had a strong presence for decades.
I have plenty of cbr files in my laptop but don't really enjoy comics in digital format I have about 2000 comics in physical form mostly from the 80's and 90' s.
