I wonder about the black things at the ears and the little things at the forehead. Are they stucked on or are they parts of implants?

I think they're attached to the body, but can be removed

So you think, that are the outer parts of implants? They can be removed by a surgical intervention or the outer part can be removed while the inner part stays on his place? Is that right?

I imagine the body having some kind of of surgically made "slots" for the parts to fin in and lock to

Love the costume - very well sealed - very innovative - is this an actual spacesuit or an undergarment?

It's basically a body suit, that you would wear indoors in the space station, or an actual spacesuit can be worn on top of it, when outside in open space.

They're just different types of mechanisms for sustaining the human body, moving easily in 0g conditions and interfacing with the main computer that is operating the space station.

That's a really neat and sexy concept. Does the AI grow human bodies for this use or how does this work?

The AI 'infects' and uses the bodies of astronauts who previously worked on the space station which it now resides in.

Ah - I already wondered about the "USA" patch. So the AI was not put in charge by choice? I'm asking in such detail, because some time ago I tried to come up with a future that is dominated by machines and ended up in a similar place.
My version was the "machine mind", a hybrid machine. The core was the body of a woman wired to the machine parts, which was the clone of the scientist that came up with this system as a way to prolong her life. Whenever her body was too old to continue or wounded / killed, her mind would be downloaded into one of the countless clones in cold storage. With time and growing influence the machine mind would reinvent herself as a kind of goddess, as the creator of mankind. In her gospel she created primitive humans and left her creation with one chance to prove itself - bringing their goddess back to this plane of existence. The last step to her domination was a brutal holy war which reshaped mankind in her image. Men are as good as extinct (and treated as a kind of "mutation"), the new humans are outfitted with cybernetic interfaces at a young age and access the machine mind as a kind of shared subconsciousness, which in turn also subconsciously influences how society evolves. Working title was "m1nd / m0ther / mach1ne", based on the christian concept of the trinity.
Would like to hear more about this world of yours.

I somehow got the feeling that you are an AI fan. XD
Thanks, I kind of like this background story, because it has very humble roots. I just tried to come up with a fetish fuel future (tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php⦠) that justified having a lot of women wired to machines and it kind of evolved from there by remixing bits and pieces of other media.
Accepting what we don't understand and are not supposed to question as religion is a very interesting approach in general.
Another question - are the bodies the drones inhabit somehow in cryosleep? I get the impression that AI has been in control for a very long time.

Yes, the pod that the astronaut operator stays in as well as the suit allows for long period body support. Also in the story, the AI has the ability to manipulate matter, so it uses the body of one astronaut as a base blueprint and from it creates different clones that its mechanical minions can inhabit. This also helps with having a context for each player creating his own character with different features.

Woah, that's a really cool concept. Both the art and story ideas are awesome. I would definitely love to play the game one day!!!
