So, this is what I did today - running 'round the meadows, spinning around, jumping in the air ... I've come to notice that birds really influence my art. They inspire me, the way they move, the way they fly ... I've somehow fallen in love with them and I'm still quite curious about them.
The title is stolen, at some parts. I wanted to name it "sparrow" at first but as I know that Agnes Obel has a song called Brother Sparrow, I just had to take these two words as the title. But mainly, the song by Warpaint inspired me to take this photo.
I am happy to have time for photography again.
It just makes me happy.

Well, that's a very thoughtful critique by Kempchinsky above, especially about a vertical composition.
However, I think such a composition would make the subject too important and take away from the bird analogy, or bird inspiration.
Birds are not free at all and fit into a broader natural landscape, but they do have some cool abilities that allow them to adapt to their environment. So this broader composition places the topic of the photo into its proper place -- the sheer joy of soaring through the air, or at least wanting to do so, like birds do through nature.
Otherwise, the topic would change into some sort of regular model-by-tree shot, and lose significance for me. With this interpretation, I think this photo should get much higher ratings!
