This is a beautiful piece of SFM art, I just wish that there was more lighting to convey emotion or some kind of light source. Or have the soldier fatally wounded. Also, to add depth have some blur in the background which would look nice, using the free program GIMP would do the trick with a careful hand. Not the most original but the vision itself is beautiful and it displays that in only death, a war is truly scene. I can totally see a short backstory about this picture and if more props were added, like guns, war zone items it would be a little more realistic. Overall this is an excellent piece that can have improvements.
