I hope Nintendo decides to take this great chance to finally re-release the game for its 10th anniversary. No matter if I already played a translated ROM, I would gladly play the official game again like I did with Mother/Earthbound Beginnings

That depends on whether it's your kind of game or not. More recently, maybe you've played Undertale? It was massively inspired by the Mother series. I suggest you just give it a try!

I love the colours in this one! They make one feel so happy and chirpy! And, for some odd reason (wrong game, I should be thinking of Mother 3!), looking at your Lucas is motivating me to finally play Earthbound!Β

This is adorable and well drawn, the environment is beautiful, especially for a piece of fan art. Not saying fanart can't have a beautiful environment, but I personally would focus on the character. Yet you have achieved a well drawn character and environment. Good work!Β

Thank you for the kind words. I love "personal" fan art. Showing our favorite characters in mundane scenes, where they're taking a nap, playing video games, or having lunch -- anything that's not fighting to save the world. Usually this involves some sort of scenery and context!

Looks stunning! Those sunflowers really make this pop. Also I'm assuming this is digital, which if it is, how do you do the watercolor effect?? Do you shade it then put a gradient on top? Would love to know...

Not sure what you mean with watercolor effect. It's basically just a standard soft-shaded painting with some slight texture overlay.
