wanted to try a simple background aaaRelated content

At first glance I thought this was a lovely digital sketch, but then when I looked closer, there are many strange points in here. First is the obviously strange pose where the character is pointing to the floating glass of water. There’s no hint of seemingly related movement whatsoever in the character, she just happened to point her finger to the glass. That’s it.
Second is the uneven hair cut, I think it’s quite annoying to look at. And the third is the blank expression of the girl looking just about somewhere else unfocused, this adds to the whole absent-mindedness of the gesture.
Curiously though with all this confusing parts you managed to paint the water’s detail very nicely while I think it’s not really the main focus object. So one might guess she’s a wizard or something, doing some telekinesis with the glass but then it’s not shown on her outfit or anything.
I love the uniqueness of the character design though, in terms of you did the strokes and the unique way you drew the face. But there’s just too much confusion in the picture it’s hardly readable to enjoy further. Maybe you thought it’s okay for a sketch, which is quite right, but if you want your viewers to appreciate more you might still want to consider making it clear. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/p/p… " width="11" height="10" alt="

aaa the water looks rlly nice and?? accurate?? i have no idea how to explain it lol
but the hair is so smooth and soft looking and i love the way you colored her skin!! and overall i rlly like the way you drew this?? it looks so warm and soft and bright,,, and her eyes are so pretty too,,,,,
