Feels great to be up there, doesn't it? Especially after climbing all the ladders... Hope you had a great vacation!

Absolutely lovely. We took our dog Luca with us, never seen him happier And all the hikers were so impressed with him going along on all the steps. (he just didn't do the real ladders, but all the other stairs, such as the wolffsschlucht were fine) Funny thing is: at home he still vehemently refuses to use stairs

Awesome! Have to get back here one day. Haven't been here since my childhood and the Malerweg sounds tempting.

It's a beautiful hike, I can really recommend it. The final 2,5 stages are less 'wild' though, but still pretty.

After all I have done in Canada and the US I think nothing in Germany will feel wild to me anyways.^^ But still, it's one of those places where the landscape has a certain magic to it. Thanks for sharing all those pictures!

Getting up high always gives a great view (if the weather allows it)

Only too bad for my husband, cause we had Luca with us, and there were a couple of actual ladders, not just stairs to get to this point, so he hasn't actually been op to the highest point.
