OH MY GOD I AM THE WORST KIND OF PERSON! I 100% honest to god do NOT know how I missed this! When I saw it posted to the UkeGoku club, I thought it was brand new! And here I'm seeing that you did it on my birthday? Really?! OH my gosh honey I am so sorry I didn't see it sooner! I wonder if I just accidentally deleted it (I hyper click sometimes) but I feel terrible for not seeing it sooner!

I looooovvvvvveeeeeeeee how you painted the grass here! It's such a pretty texture and I like the movement it draws along the ground. I also really like the way you drew Vegeta's eyes here. I can't put my finger on it, per say, but I know it really adds a lot of character to his face. :3

I'm a gigantic sucker for sleeping pictures. They always warm my heart and are so cute, especially if it's Goku! hehe! I really like the design you came up with for his shirt, and the fact you thought to make it a design instead of a flat one shaded color. I think it's very creative and reflects his personality, because if Goku were to pick out his own casual apparel, I think he'd be drawn to the bright, more expressive type of clothes. I also love the way you shaded his hair and the directional strokes you used to capture the highlights. The way you did it adds a lot of volume and makes it look touchably soft. I can't blame Vegeta for sneaking a pet while Goku's sleep! XDDD

This is definitely a beautiful, relaxing scene. I love the idea of the falling petals, too! My only suggestion for you is to find an alternative light source than the white glow you have blaring in the corner. I see what you're trying to do there, but I think it's coming off as unrealistic related to the angle we're looking at the two of them from. We're looking down at them, so unless there was a body of water that could be possibly reflecting the sunlight there, it shouldn't be so bright. It also washes a lot of the saturation out of the top half of picture and takes away from the focal point a little bit. You know what I mean?

Other than that though, this is extremely heartwarming! The intimacy between the two of them is obvious and knowing that this is a fanart for Melon's doujinshi makes it even better! I'm sure if she hasn't seen this already, she's going to love it! You did a terrific job as always, Miranda!
