Though Panel four feels a bit off. The grass blades sticking between her paws. if the paw is going down the grass, it would fall under her paws.
But if the idea is to have them sticking between her paws as nervous fiddling. Maybe make the paws seem more open?
I don't know it is probably just me.

I thought the grass was just around their paws, like the grass they were on was under their paws, but there was grass around it. I mean, if you're standing in long grass like that, the whole field of grass doesn't just flatten, right?

Yes but say you had your hand on grass with fingers closed the grass wouldn't go through it, It would go under it. That is all I mean. Well that is what it feels it should do unless the paws (finger part of the paws) are spread a little bit then the grass could go threw.

I thought the same. It’s doesn't read as intentional. It looks more like an oops rather than fidgeting with grass blades. Her toes should probably appear to be moving, showing slight variation to their position so it doesn’t look like they are hanging/resting.

On another note I hope Courage isn't going to lash out at Cinder. She was the one he stood up for back there. Although, seeing as those two are on the cover together, it looks like things between them will work out
